Calendula Balm

Ingredients (*Organic): *Calendula infused in *Jojoba Oil, *Beeswax, *Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, *Boswella serrata (Frankincense) Oil, *Melaleuca quinquenervia (Niaouli) Oil, *Pogostamon cablin (Patchouli) Oil

In studies, Calendula has shown such powerful healing capabilities that it is advised not to use it alone on a wound that is infected, as it will rejuvenate the skin cells so quickly that it will seal the infection inside!

The calendula flowers in this product were grown organically in my garden. Each day I would go out and harvest several flowers, while leaving some for the bees and butterflies. After collecting a very large batch over the summer, I air dried and infused them in organic jojoba oil for 6 weeks. Once infused, I strained the oil to remove all plant material and then melted the oil with beeswax. Once slightly cooled, I added Frankincense, Niaouli, and Patchouli – antibacterial and antimicrobial disinfecting essential oils with the Calendula to help wounds and the skin heal naturally.

Safe for children. Scent is camphorous, fresh, and warm. This salve comes in a green glass jar with BPA free plastic lid.
